It’s a brand new year which also means new hopes and dreams. It’s back to school and our children are also full of hope and looking forward to start new year with big smiles.
Let’s keep their spirits high by making sure they stay in school. A little gesture goes a long way🙏. Every year our little family grows a little and we are able to spread more smiles with help of our friends.
So we are back to request our friends to help us take the innocent children back to school. You can help by getting them a school bag, or a pair of shoes, or paying for their hot meal nothing is too small , even a pair of socks makes a difference in someone’s life.

We have had rains, floods and lost lives but we are greatful to see another term of back to school. Our babies are back to school and we can only make it possible with help from our generous well wishers. We are asking again for your support so we can keep these innocent souls in school.
Our objective is to help as many needy children stay in school as we can. We ensure they get hot meal which sometimes is the only meal a child gets in a day. We ensure they have uniform and other school requirements. Be a part of our family and let's spread love and happiness to these innocent souls. Nothing is too small we appreciate every help we get 🙏. God bless you abundantly.

Whenever I visit school to check on the children the small children of Nursery call me Mama Vero lol Vero is one of the girl in Nursery. Everytime someone asks me how many children I have I always say 3 biological and I am mother to many many more.
A little haircut, little braids,a pair of socks, shoes, a little school bag, a pencil, new uniform, hot meal in school etc may look nothing to some but it means a lot to some. This is the first time in these children lives they have stayed in school and completed a full year . Yes for them full year in school was never heard of it never looked possible and you should see the smile on their faces everytime I visit school.
With as little as 2500ksh per month you can ensure a child stays in school, gets hot meal, has uniform, books, shoes,has basic necessities and most importantly gets their smile back.
Join hands with us to bring more smiles in these innocent childrens faces and make their lives bit better.

And finally he smiled. Sometimes just small things can make a big difference in these sweet children's life. His sweater has sleeves he was so happy and after this he went to get his haircut. These are some highlights of my day. Now I need to look for some school bags.
Always help where you can.

A box of shoes and sanitizer for the school. Everyone can't help everyone but everyone can help someone. To you it may just look like a pair of shoes but to a child it means a full year of dignity.
Last year our shoes helped a lot of students some even asked me in shock that they can have it for ever 😢.
I am still requesting for some sweaters , white shirts and socks .

So update on Richard today we went to see the Eye doctor who after lots of test said he has some kind of infection and Caratononas I don't know if the spelling is right,it's something to do with his Cornia we were given some ointments and drops to ease the irritation.
So when he tries to read it strains his eyes a lot , his eyes are constantly red 😞.
I am requesting my lovely friends who knows more about eye issues to help this little innocent boy he is really suffering and these meds are just the temporary solution.
I know my friends will definitely guide me in the right direction 🙏. God bless you.

My boy is still suffering. Last time we were supposed to take him to Thika but as it was holiday season we couldn't get in touch with his parents 😢. He is very bright boy who loves to study but according to teacher it is hard for him to read at times 😢. I can't see him suffering like this anymore he has been having this issue for years that's what I have been told. Anyone who can help or guide me in the right direction 🙏. Is there any good eyes specialist who can help us .

After holiday and festive season it's almost time for back to school.Every child deserves to be in school and have decent uniform and a school bag and shoes yes it may look basic to you but many children still can't afford uniform,shoes and a warm meal and that's what we try to give them with your help. Just a pair of new uniform builds a child's confidence.. Do you know for some children that hot lunch in school is the only meal they eat that day yes it's the sad reality.

People often ask me what do I benefit from Bring a Smile, others think I am a crazy lady well it brings me happiness unlimited happiness. When I met her she never talked to anyone, never smiled but just few months she was smiling, singing, dancing now what more can one ask for and now she is in school mingling with other children. This is just one of many stories. We are often complaining about money etc yes money is very important but also giving children love and care is . A bit of love makes a lot of difference in their lives. As we stay home with the children during this long holiday I would just request kindly check where your children are not everyone is nice out there, become their friend first so they can open up to you, encourage them to play games not watching tv and being on internet yes it's easy way out but you don't know the amount of harm it causes. Children are very innocent.

We were given generous donation of shoes and today some children were very happy 😊. God bless our friends who sent us these shoes🙏. It may look something small to you but it means a lot to some.
