On Tuesday we travelled from Webuye to Nakuru, directly to MH Base Camp, where we met Julius, the drilling contractor and our MHBC Site Coordinator - Apostle David. The test pump team was expecting us. They had already gone down with the camera to record and reveal what’s at the bottom of the borehole.
We knew the drilling had been extended to approx. 310 meters. We arrived to a rather somber group; we wondered what we were about to hear. After greetings and introductions, we gathered around the small screen to see the live video of what’s below…
Remarkable journey, you can see the casings, the moisture on them as you go deeper…
At 266 m casing stops and solid rock begins - with drilled hole 6-inch (15 cm) wide, with fractures.
Then at 295-303 m - WATER! At first - a bit cloudy, but as we went deeper it got clear. Not just an aquifer - it’s actually a moving RIVER, 8 meters (26 ft) deep. Just imagine the abundance💧 This is our God gift - from Faithful, Generous, God of Abundance! ✨🙌🏼✨
💦💦🧡💦💦💦💦🧡💦💦💦💦

We celebrate with you who have prayed and believed ❣️, you who have stood in faith with wild hope 🦋
This is your miracle too, so testify! Praise the Lord! We marvel, realizing our Creator placed this here for His plans and purposes! We are blessed, grateful and tearfully thankful , in awe of our God ✨🙌🏼💦💦🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼💦💦💦🙌🏼💦

From our days at Miracle House Base Camp (MHBC)

The drilling process was exciting but not exciting enough to keep us all engaged at the site all the time 😅.
Within our ten acres of space we had a bunch of teenagers who just got out of school for their longest break of the year and staff that did’t have to orchestrate everyday logistics - a RETREAT indeed!
ogren led amazing declaration/worship banner workshop. After her lecture full of inspiring content, everyone got to design their own flag/banner and create it.
We had fun dancing and worshipping the Lord together and learning new songs in English, Swahili and Luhya.
Children, staff members and our international team played soccer and volleyball games. Our two professional photographers, and , couldn’t just take random pictures portraying the children. A full outdoor studio was created, including mosquito nets for lighting effects for our photoshoot.
On one hand, there was so much we wanted to do/teach/impart to the children; on the other - it was awe-inspiring to have them “just” talk and play. Requirements of education system here sometimes lead to overload. It’s important to us to build environments where creative thinking, play and vision are part of our teaching.
We share God’s Word, the heart of the Father and testimonies, we rely on the Holy Spirit to do the work.
Bringing the children together from both locations doesn’t happen often, so they really enjoy time together with the other half of the Miracle House Family!

This mud can mean only one thing: WATER ! 💧💦
On Friday, the casing for the borehole has been put all the way down to 270 meters, where the drillers hit rock. Some pieces of the casing are solid and some are permeable to allow water flow. Right now, our drilling team is pressure-cleaning the casing from the inside, with some challenges on the way (broken equipment that needed to be replaced). On Saturday morning we’ll have a measuring pump to determine yield of water from different depths and to help check quality of water.
We’re believing for more than enough - our Father in Heaven has all the abundance of water!
As the samples will be collected, please join us in prayer for CLEAN, tasty water for the Miracle House Base Camp and for our neighbors.
Our international team will travel to Webuye tomorrow, Saturday, after a quick stop at Base Camp on our way out of town. We have a 4-5 hour drive and hope to see two of our college boys on the way.

🙏🏽 Travel safety and good timing to squeeze in all of our hopes and dreams.

Opportunity 🙏🏽
Support the “Next Steps” we are currently researching:
- Perimeter wall/fence options for increased security
- Three phase electricity

Huge thank you for praying and believing with and for us!

Tuesday morning we arrived early at the Base Camp. We spent time worshipping our Way Maker, prayed and anointed the machinery.
Eight 5-meter rods were drilled in before a hydraulic hose burst💥 which slowed down otherwise very efficient progress.
We still need to put down approximately 42 of these rods for the depth of 250meters.
The drilling team fixed the machine and they are confident about reaching water level on Wednesday.
We are simply praying and believing for ALL God has prepared for us, standing in faith with wild hope!

Hello from Miracle House Base Camp!
We arrived in Nakuru Saturday night and spent Sunday on the property, praying and preparing for MH children and staff to arrive on Monday.
Today here we are, blessed with a beautiful sunny day in rainy season!
We have Alex, a former MH student, now married - He’s a chef, preparing food with his team for our meals.
We are expecting our children from Limuuru and Webuye to arrive soon. We are all ready for them with bags of school supplies and snacks, we have prepared fun discipleship activities to ground them in their identity in Christ as they grow. We are celebrating the borehole (a very deep well) that is to be drilled tomorrow, on 11/11. GOD IS FAITHFUL!
Throughout the three day long retreat, we will witness the drilling process, have time to dance, play games, learn, talk, worship God through all our activities and much more!
Spring up a well 💦 FAITHFUL GOD!

Meet three boys from Webuye!
Stanley, Erastus and Evans - all came to Miracle House very young.
At times when their parent or relatives couldn’t be there for them, Miracle House was their only family. And this is true for most of our children.

The boys have kind hearts to help others and reach out to the children in the community. They are diligent in Miracle House Give Back Program.

Each of these boys needs multiple sponsors to complete their education.

A few words about them:
Erastus - came to Miracle Huse with a group of siblings, a tiny toddler. Now, he, s in his final year of high school.
FUN FACT: He grows his own sugar cane. And plays rugby at school.

Evans - was left out of his family. He survived thanks to help of Miracle House and local community. He’s now in second year of high school.
FUN FACT: He loves soccer and he wins with most push-ups!

Stanley - joined Miracle House as a preschooler, the youngest of three siblings.
He studies agriculture at a university.
FUN FACTS: Imagine the sticky red soil in the region. And now picture this: Stanley’s white sneakers are always bright-white!

…but there’s still something else.
During their school breaks Evans, Erastus and Stanley stay at the Miracle House. There is no other place waiting for them. But Miracle House is family.

We thought you would like to ‘experience’ a food post.
First of all: these kids eat twice-three times what you would expect!
MH menu schedule, both in Limuru and Webuye, is consistent week to week. We enjoy lots of local greens and grains and we are blessed to say, MH also provides meat and other proteins.

When our children are in high school, they begin the GIVE-BACK PROGRAM. They share in the household responsibilities - cooking, cleaning, helping with shopping… they keep track of their hours, similar to ‘Community Service’ volunteerism in the US. This is considered when the children apply for Miracle House Scholarships to attend college or university.
We do everyday family life together: food prep, cooking, cleaning, laundry. Helping younger ones - sometimes even little ones from our neighborhood, as they are eager to join and check out what we’re doing. We share in leading worship and prayer. Everybody has a special gift and we are aware of that!
Enjoy the food post!

So wonderful to be back with the children and staff in Webuye!
We received a warm welcome and beautiful connection. Good that we were able to return after only 4.5 months, even the new little girl that joined MH and the neighbor children warmed up quickly.
This trip we intentionally scheduled more time in the west, Webuye, since Limuru got more days last October.
Soon after we arrived, we were blessed with a double rainbow 🌈 🌈 and a Webuye downpour! 💥⚡️🌧️
Days filled with games in the field, lots of conversations, hearing thoughts and concerns of their hearts, art projects and purpose-filled fun. We brought clothing for all, so there was the sorting and distribution… thanks to those who donated!
Worship time is rich with several playing the rhythms on tables and a desk, with hands, a spoon and even a random piece of plastic… the movement in the room is life giving.
The children send their greetings and thanks to their sponsors! We have many who still need sponsorship. 😉

Beautiful afternoon drive from Limuru to Nakuru, through forest, high point overlooking the Rift Valley, towns and rural, lush green everywhere. Kenya is beautiful in a plethora of ways.

Alex grew up in Miracle House, attended college and transitioned into his adult life. He is a chef who has just finished his training to be a chef trainer.
Just four days before he married his beautiful bride Elizabeth. We had a lovely time of sharing and encouraging this couple over a dinner together.
Traveling on, driving, sharing MH history, memories, insights and vision for the future… so much inner beauty in the people God’s bringing together for our next chapter 🙏🏽✨🙌🏼
