```FORFEITING THE GRACE!```

_Jonah.2.8 "Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs. (NIV)_

_Jonah.2.8 Those who pay regard to false, useless, and worthless idols forsake their own [Source of] mercy and loving-kindness. (AMP)_

People who put their trust in things that cannot save or help in times of trouble --false gods, human strength, wealth, or anything else in place of the true God. They separate themselves from experiencing God’s mercy, grace, and salvation.

Whereas goodness and mercy should follow us all the days of our life. Anyone who relies on idols—whether physical or inward (like pride, money, or self-reliance)—forfeits the experience of God’s mercy.

True deliverance and peace come only from turning fully to God.

```DOES IT PAY TO SERVE GOD?```

_Mal.3.14 "When you said, "It doesn't pay to serve God. What do we ever get out of it? When we did what he said and went around with long faces, serious about GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies, what difference did it make? (MSB)_

Even good people can fall into this wrong way of thinking and speaking.
Such a mentality is the same as denying that God is good and loving, and that He rewards faithful service and sacrifices.

```The below is the return on investment (ROI) of serving God.

= 10,000%

```10,000% returns here on earth plus eternal life?``` For sure this is an abundant compensation.

```THE BELIEVERS IN THE WRONG PLACE!```

```WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?```

1. Abraham went down to Egypt and was not a blessing (Gen 12:10).
2. Lot went to S***m (world) and lost everything (Gen 13:11).
3. Elijah sat down under a broom tree instead of being at mt Carmel (1 Kings 19:4).
4. Jonah was in the fish belly and prayed (Jonah 2).
5. The deceived prophet walked on the wrong path and died (1 Kings 13:19-24).
6. David was in the palace roof instead of being in the battle field (2 Sam 11:2).
7. Peter warmed himself up around the fire with strangers instead of being watchful (Luke 22:55).

Where are you spiritually, emotionally and physically? What are you doing there? Can your current location attract God's presence, blessing and back up, or He is utterly surprised by your choice of location and actions?

“Where are you?”
“What are you doing here?”

```“UNITY IS STRENGTH!”```

_Genesis 11:6 And the LORD said, “See, the people are one and they all have one language, and they have started to do this, and so now nothing that they have planned to do will be kept from them. ”_

After seeing the city and the tower that the united people of the earth had built, God does not dismiss their efforts as weak and futile. Instead, He acknowledges that by working together, humanity can accomplish whatever they set out to do. A people united cannot be defeated.

Unity is strength. Even for the day of pentecost to fully come, it was a requirement that all disciples be in one accord in one place --

_Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost had fully come they were all with one accord in one place._

Did you know any remarkable milestone you can remember of took place when there was unity? Be it in your family, church or even nation? You cannot build anything, not even a chicken house when there's disunity in your family. Disunity and development cannot dwell together, I guarantee. They repel. Disunity at its best breeds weaklings. I dare you plant crops as a family in your field amidst disunity. You won't harvest anything, I'm a witness! On the contrary, where there's unity God commands blessings, even life forevermore (Psalms 133).

Before you think of building,
Before you think of planting,
Think of unity!

It began with man to man, then door to door, now is crusades. Looking forward to holding mega crusades.

```“WHERE IS YOUR BROTHER?”```

_Genesis 4:9 And the LORD said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” And he said, “I don’t know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”_

Undoubtedly,Cain knew where his younger brother Abel was! He had just attacked and killed him. His response to God's question does not only depict his arrogance and lie, but lovelessness and a don't care nature. By all means, Cain being the elder brother of Abel owed the later a duty of care. What he did was quite unfortunate. A betrayal of brotherhood. It cannot be worse than that!

Even as lawlessness increases making the love of many grow cold. Even as offense, betrayal and hatred abounds. You can still choose to be your brother's keeper. The Bible says --

“A friend loves at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity” (Prov 17:17).

“One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother” (Prov 18:24).

“Where is your brother?”
“Are you not your brother's keeper?”

Thank you my beloved sister Mary Muchai, your hubby Peter Muigai and all your worthy friends for the surprise visit to Machakos. What a day it was?

Child of God;
Endeavor stand to express your complete confidence in God. And never shrink back from His mission. Suffering, humiliation and opposition will assuredly come. But that will be as nothing to you.
