The Evil Forest That Never Let Anyone Leave
Long ago, on the edge of a forgotten village, stood a forest known as Black Hollow. The trees were so tall that they blocked out the sun, leaving the ground in permanent darkness. The villagers believed the forest was cursed. Anyone who entered after sunset was never seen again.
One stormy evening, a young hunter named Daniel ignored the warnings. Armed with only a lantern and a hunting knife, he stepped into the forest, determined to prove the stories were false.
At first, everything was silent. Then he heard whispers.
"Turn back..."
He spun around, but no one was there.
As he walked deeper, the trees seemed to move, closing the path behind him. Strange footprints appeared in the mudโfar larger than any human's. His lantern flickered, and the temperature dropped until his breath turned white.
Suddenly, a pale woman appeared between the trees. Her long black hair covered her face.
"Help me," she whispered.
Daniel rushed toward her, but as she slowly lifted her head, he froze. Her eyes were empty black holes, and her mouth stretched into a horrifying smile filled with needle-like teeth.
She screamed.
The sound shook the forest.
Shadowy creatures crawled down from the trees, their glowing red eyes fixed on Daniel. He ran as fast as he could, but every path led back to the same placeโa giant dead tree with a door carved into its trunk.
The door slowly creaked open by itself.
Something inside whispered his name.
Daniel refused to enter and turned to run again, but the creatures surrounded him. One by one, they vanished into the darkness with him.
The next morning, the villagers searched the forest. They found only Daniel's broken lantern hanging from a tree... still burning.
To this day, people say that if you enter Black Hollow after sunset, you will hear someone calling your name from deep within the trees.
If you answer...
The forest will never let you leave.
