We kicked off our Holiday Camp a week ago, and if we said we’re having fun, that would be an understatement! 🎶

It’s been a week of music, dance, skating, and creativity. The learners are exploring, discovering new skills, and gaining confidence every single day.

We are deeply grateful to all the parents who trusted us to spend these two weeks with their children. Watching them learn, laugh, and grow has been such a rewarding experience.

And yes, if you’ve been wondering what all the excitement is about, we still have a few more days to go — and we’re making every moment count!

We took this video a term or two ago, and every time we watch it, we’re reminded of one big lesson from our guitar students: patience.

At first, the strings hurt your fingers, and you might feel like giving up. But with a little love, resilience, and patience, it gets easier.

Then comes switching from one chord to the next — not easy even for adults, so imagine how much focus it takes for a child!

And finally, there’s practice. Daily effort is what turns simple notes into beautiful music. 💪🎶

So next time you feel like giving up, think of how long it takes to master any skill — then keep pushing.
Maybe you just need more practice.
Maybe your fingers are bruised.
Maybe you need a little patience.

Either way, keep going. You’ll get there.

Your child has been learning to play an instrument all year.
Now schools are closing, and for many, the next time they’ll touch that guitar or keyboard will be in January.

When kids take long breaks, they don’t just lose practice; they lose rhythm, confidence, and interest. Some even stop altogether. And for those who return, the first few weeks are usually spent revisiting what they had already learned.

So, how do you keep your child interested and ahead of the curve?

1️⃣ Support your child by getting them an instrument.
Give them access to what they’ve been learning with. We have plenty of free resources you can download here: www.tutti.co.ke/resources

2️⃣ Encourage, don’t pressure.
Instead of asking “Did you practice today?”, try “Can I hear what you practiced today?” It makes practice feel like sharing, not an obligation.

3️⃣ Consistency is the secret sauce.
There’s a huge difference between a child who practices for 20 minutes a day and one who doesn’t touch their instrument at all. Progress comes from consistency, not perfection.

If you don’t have instruments at home, our Music & Dance Holiday Camp is a great way to stay active.
We’ll revisit everything learned this year, introduce new material, and most importantly, have fun doing it.

This Mashujaa Day, we celebrate our heroes: our teachers.

They are the ones who show up every week with patience, passion, and purpose.

They tune the instruments, calm the nerves, and turn “I can’t” into “Let me try again.”

Every confident child who performs on stage, every student who smiles after mastering a new song, that’s their work in action.

We see you.
We appreciate you.
You are our everyday heroes.
Happy Mashujaa Day!

With you at work and the nanny busy, many will probably head upcountry.

Before packing those bags, consider bringing them to our Music and Dance Holiday Camp!

We’ll spend 10 fun-filled days learning to play musical instruments, dancing, and skating, because a little sport and a lot of creativity never hurt anyone.

Three years ago, this little girl couldn’t stand in front of an audience.
If you told her we had a performance coming up, she’d get so scared she’d burst into tears.

On Saturday, she performed “Long, Long Ago” during our recital.

“Were you scared?” I asked her afterward.
She smiled and said, “No. It was easy.”

That moment said it all. The transformation is real. Confidence built one lesson, one note, one song at a time.

Every time the teacher asks a question, he is the first to raise his hand.

He always wants his teacher to come see how well he is doing.

Because when it clicked, it stuck, and he saw that it wasn’t so difficult after all.

This is what fuels our work. Seeing the kids transformed and growing in confidence, and taking pride in their achievements.

It brings us joy and fulfillment. This is what we mean when we say learning how to play an instrument can change your child.

They learn, grow, and thrive.

Speaking of which, we will be announcing our annual holiday camp soon! Watch out for that!
