Ramadan… the Month of Living Hearts
Ramadan comes every year to awaken hearts from heedlessness and restore purity to souls. It is not merely a month of hunger and thirst, but a great spiritual school in which Muslims learn patience, self-control, and compassion for others.
In Ramadan, the doors of goodness are opened, rewards are multiplied, and people turn to the Qur’an with recitation and reflection, and to prayer with devotion and humility. It is a month in which hearts grow closer, souls become gentler, and the wealthy feel the needs of the poor, giving generously in the hope of Allah’s pleasure.
Ramadan is a true opportunity for change:
– changing bad habits,
– strengthening our relationship with Allah,
– and reforming what has been corrupted in our morals and behaviour.
Let us welcome this blessed month with sincere intentions, fill its days with obedience, its nights with remembrance and supplication, and make it a new beginning for a life closer to Allah and more beneficial to people
