Call for Participation: Mystic Marsh International Design Competition

Students of the Faculty of Built Environment and Design are invited to participate in the Mystic Marsh Competition—an international academic design challenge by Glory Group of Companies.

This competition calls on students to develop a conceptual masterplan for a 78-hectare Eco Park and Development Hub in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, integrating wetland conservation, sustainable mobility, and community-centered design.

Eligibility:
Open to undergraduate and graduate students in Architecture, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, and related fields.

Key Dates:

Registration Deadline: 23 March 2026

Submission Deadline: 09 April 2026

Results Announcement: 19 April 2026

Submission:
Digital only – one compiled PDF (hand-drawn or digital work accepted).

Awards:

1st Prize: USD 3,000 + Official Concept Recognition
