A teachable spirit isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about staying open enough to keep discovering new ones.
At Red Rad, we believe that the most powerful members of our community aren’t the ones who know the most, but the ones who are willing to unlearn, relearn, and grow. A teachable spirit means embracing curiosity over ego, asking questions without fear, and seeing every experience, success, or failure as a lesson.
It looks like:
- Listening deeply, even when it’s uncomfortable
- Trying again after getting it wrong
- Welcoming feedback as fuel, not criticism
- Staying humble enough to know there’s always more to learn
In a world that rewards being “right,” we choose to celebrate those who are ready, ready to stretch, to shift, and to evolve.
Because learning isn’t just what we do.
It’s who we become.
What if the problem isn’t the learner… but the lesson? 👀
The American curriculum encourages the use of manipulatives, tools that help learners see, touch, and experience concepts, not just memorise them.
At Red Rad Republik, we took that idea and pushed it all the way.
We don’t just use manipulatives.
We use the learner’s world.
- Their passions
- Their interests
- Their “Box of Delights”
Because when learning connects to what a child already loves… something powerful happens.
For Tasha, it wasn’t about atoms. It was about basketball.
So we turned:
atomic structure → a basketball team
elements → players with roles
the lesson → something she could feel
And just like that…
Chemistry wasn’t confusing anymore.
It was hers.
This is the shift.
From teaching content to designing experiences
From generic lessons to personalised delight
This is Red Rad Republik.

Standing In Your Shoes 👣❤️
This week at Red Rad Republik, we’re choosing empathy.
Choosing to listen before we judge.
To understand before we respond.
To hold space for each other’s stories, struggles, dreams, and differences.
Because community and belonging are not just values we speak about, they are values we live every day.
When we stand in each other’s shoes, we build a culture where everyone feels seen, heard, valued, and safe to be themselves.
Here’s to kindness.
Here’s to compassion.
Here’s to showing up for one another.
”
Super fun times at Red Rad Republik! 🎉 One of our amazing learners brought this game to life and it’s been a hit ever since.
Here’s how it works: the grass is sprinkled with cones in all sorts of bright colors. Two players step up to compete… but with a twist; they’re blindfolded! 😄 Their only guide? A teammate calling out directions, “Left! Forward! Stop!” as they scramble to collect as many cones as they can.
But wait, it gets even better! Each color carries a different point value, so it’s not just about speed, it’s about strategy too. 🔴🔵🟢🟠
At the end, we do a big points tally to see who came out on top. Expect lots of laughs, a little chaos, and a whole lot of teamwork.
Safe to say, we fully live up to our value: Fun & Joy. 💥

Sometimes the biggest thing standing between you and the life you want…
isn’t lack of opportunity
isn’t bad timing
isn’t other people
It’s overthinking.
Perfectionism.
Waiting until you feel “ready”.
Progress doesn’t come from having zero fear.
It comes from taking action despite it.
Start messy.
Share before it’s perfect.
Take the step you keep postponing.
Done beats perfect. Every time.
Happy Mothers’ Day!!

Step by step.
Not rushing. Not overloading.
Just one small, steady action at a time.
When things feel too big, we don’t need certainty, we need faith to begin.
Momentum is built by starting, not by perfect planning.
That’s how confidence grows.
That’s how progress happens.
Step by step, because starting small is still starting.
You don’t have to do everything.
You just have to do the next right thing.
Step by step. Always.
Learning can look like laughter + movement + connection.
Brain Gym goes far beyond a fixed list of 26 moves; it’s about helping the brain organize, calm, and re‑engage through simple, joyful activities.
We build these moments into our daily life as a therapeutic school.
Because brains need movement, not pressure
