Study further ~ ‎DON'T STOP WHERE YOUR TEACHER STOPPED

‎One thing that has really helped me get better is that I am good at researching. If you want to become better at mathematics, please research.
‎
‎Always engage in personal study after you have been taught by your teacher.
‎
‎Take for instance, maybe my teacher just taught PROBABILITY. Let say he explained about 4 to 5 examples out of 30 exercises in the textbooktextbook.
‎
‎One mistake that is common with many students is that they stop where the teacher stopped.
‎
‎But as for me, I don't stop there. I always make sure I solved all the questions in the exercise in my textbook and also gather about 5 to 6 different textbooks and solved problems related to the topic. That's what I called "researching".

This morning I have solved trigonometric ratio problems in about 4 different textbooks.
‎
‎I search for past questions and lay my hand on the question related to the topic. That culture has really helped me alot.
‎
‎Please don't stop where your teacher stopped, take a step further. Solve some exercises. Lay your hands on problems.
‎
‎If you think you have the detail understanding of that topic because your teacher had explained about 4 to 5 examples, you are joking.
‎
‎You cannot understand the concept of a topic by just solving few questions. No, you cannot!

That's why developing the culture of research will greatly help you to become better. This is the culture that differentiate between an average student and excellent student.

‎Don't stop where your teacher stopped.
