The CCA team had an insightful engagement with the Director of Starehe Boys’ Centre, exploring the evolving career guidance needs of learners navigating the CBE system and the importance of preparing students for informed career pathway choices.

Building on this conversation, Corporate Career Academy (CCA), in partnership with KCB Foundation, had the privilege of addressing the Old Starehian Society on “Turning Academic Grades into Excellent Careers.” The conversation emphasized that while academic excellence opens doors, employability skills, personal branding, adaptability, networks and the right mindset are what help individuals thrive beyond the classroom, whether as employees or entrepreneurs.

The energy at Fr. Heeran Girls Secondary School in Kangundo, Machakos County was simply unmatched! From the very first question to the final activity, the students were fully engaged, responding with enthusiasm, shouting in unison, and proving that career guidance can be both impactful and exciting.

Last Saturday, Corporate Career Academy had the privilege of speaking to the entire school on career development and subject selection. Seeing hundreds of students actively participate, laugh, reflect, and confidently respond reminded us why we do what we do.
