Description
Montage Media Services was inspired by a French word" Monter" simply meaning putting things together in an aesthetic order. Then at the Film and TV Institute of India in Pune, the founder of the business name, Shree Brutus S Sirucha was pursuing his advanced studies in Film Directing at the prestigious film school. 1995 seems to be a long journey but also has seen a phenomenal growth for a business card in a student's wallet 17 years ago to what Montage is today. That Montage Media Services Ltd is expanding into full and professional training in Film and a related study is probably the greatest fulfillment of our vision: To be a Global Player in Media business. Montage Media Services has been a place of choice for internship and hands on training for many students across our institutions. Kenyatta University and Kenya Institute of Mass Communication and Kampala International University. Since 2009, Montage has been training school children on video documentation under the Pamoja Kwa Haki Initiative. The purpose of the training is to equip school children with skills on how to record and communicate human rights issues in their environment and also share experiences with their peers in Ire land and local schools. Clips of this of project can be downloaded from Pamoja Kwa Haki Website OR www.youtube.com/montagemedia2010. The Kenya film industry has been struggling for takeoff for many years.
