Prof Peter Mbithi was appointed the new vice-chancellor of the University of Nairobi (UoN) on January 6. He becomes the seventh vice chancellor since the inception of UoN in 1970. He spoke to The Star Newspaper writer Ramadhan Rajab about his plans and vision for the university and a wide range of issues touching on Kenya’s higher education.

UoN Alumni Association's 10th Anniversary
The University of Nairobi Alumni Association will be marking 10 years Anniversary on February 5, 2015. The Association was officially launched on 5th February 2005 by then Minister of Education, the late Prof. George Saitoti, EGH.
