The Just concluded UN summit has seen the world adopt 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The difference in targets and the focus of indicators - from the former Millennium Development Goals, is due to the difference in country differences in capacity, realities, levels of Development and policy priorities.

Each country will have its autonomy in defining its pace in pursuing the Gender and Equality agenda bearing in mind vision 2030 of sustainable Development.

This month, we have our schedule packed with a series of services.
First off, In the past week, we engaged researchers at Kenya Medical Research Institute CGMR-C Centre Kilifi and Kwale unit on a Gender mainstreaming in Health research sensitization.

Onwards, as relates to resolution 1325 on defining role of women in the prevention and resolution of conflicts and in peace-building, we move to engender by reviewing the curriculum/learning plans for International Peace Support Training Centre.
