These past two days, the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) has been a hub of inspiration, innovation and opportunity as thousands gathered to commemorate World Youth Skills Day at the Skill Up Summit 2026.
Held under the theme, "Future Skills, Innovation and Opportunity for Kenya's Youth," the summit brought together government leaders, educators, innovators, industry partners, entrepreneurs and young people united by one vision - preparing Kenya's youth for the future of work. Through thought-provoking discussions on entrepreneurship, innovation hubs, emerging technologies and industry collaboration, the forum reinforced the importance of equipping young people with practical, future-ready skills.
We are incredibly proud to be part of this national conversation, showcasing how digital skills continue to empower young people to innovate, solve real-world challenges and build meaningful careers in technology. Meeting aspiring developers, creators, students, parents, educators and professionals who are eager to embrace the digital economy has been both inspiring and motivating.
We also applaud the government's continued commitment to strengthening technical education and workforce readiness, as highlighted during the summit by Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Dr. Alfred Mutua and Principal Secretary Shadrack Mwadime. Their vision aligns with our mission of making quality digital skills training accessible and impactful for every young Kenyan.
