Hey FB family!
Some projects are written. Others are forged.
This one was forged in years of ministry, prayer, and a growing conviction that worship has lost something essential.
I'm humbled to share the cover for my upcoming book:
The Apostolic Pattern of the Worship Ministry:
Rebuilding the Altar in a Modern Age.
This is coming soon. 📖🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Child of God… listen.
Did you know that Elisha did not curse Gehazi when he told him that the leprosy that was on Naaman would follow him to the 4th generation? Truth is he was just told the truth he didn't know.
You see, Naaman came with silver, with garments, with gratitude in his hands. But the prophet Elisha looked at the gift and saw something deeper.
Because not every gift is an offering.
Sometimes people bring their burdens wrapped in generosity.
Naaman said,
“Take this.”
But Elisha said,
“No.”
Not because he despised the blessing, but because he discerned the weight behind it.
Then came Gehazi.
He chased what the prophet refused.
He received what heaven had declined.
Silver in his hands… but a burden on his life.
Child of God, be careful.
Not everything called a seed is clean.
Not everything called a gift is a blessing.
Some people give their burdens instead of their offerings.
Pray for discernment. Because what you receive may carry more than what you see.

Long post but worth reading.
There is a saying in this country that a seated old man can see way beyond what a young man on top of a tall tree can.
In the few years of my journey in salvation, I have seen and learnt quite some things and one of those things is Honor for authorities. I know this is a vast subject and may vary due to many schools of thought and circumstances one may find themselves in. But the bottom line is our stories are never the same and will never be. Unfortunately, this is something that is affecting a lot of young and budding ministers.
For this very reason, we have a rising generation of charismatic Christians who lack submission to authorities and have no honor for no one but themselves. They claim to be their own spiritual authorities and therefore need no "spiritual father or parents". But this is the biggest lie the enemy has used especially in our generation to destroy our effectiveness and longevity both spiritually and naturally.
I won't go into much but allow me to say this. I know you can pray more than your pastor, and perhaps you have more grace than he does. But there is a reason God places you under a man. If you are rebellious and cannot honor that man, you dishonor God. So in most cases, you become a CASUALTY of circumstances in life.
Even when we grow in faith and knowledge because again we must grow, there’s still a purpose in respecting those God has appointed to lead us. Recognizing and honoring the authority God places over us is a way of showing humility and reverence, not just toward the individual, but toward God Himself.
God wasn't crazy when he allowed the young Samuel to be mentored by a priest who had no favor with God anymore. As a Matter of fact, God sent the same young Samuel to tell his mentor that God was displeased with him and his family. That was a MAJOR reason for Samuel to dishonor Eli the priest, But he didn't.
In another instance, God sends Samuel who is now a prophet to anoint David as king over Israel because God is displeased with Saul who has disobeyed him by sparing the Amalekites and also by standing in the place of the priest to conduct priestly duties without consent. Fast forward David who has full knowledge of what's happening, has very many nasty encounters with Saul who is seeking to finish him, but he does not kill him even when he has more than one chance to do so.
Sometimes, respecting that structure requires us to look beyond human flaws and focus on God’s purpose for appointing leaders in our lives. Don't ever think that just because God speaks to you nowadays and you can see clear visions and interpret some dreams here and there or give some prophecies to their fulfillment: now you are a grown MOG who needs not submit to any man. Young Theophilus, you are still in the process of becoming and direction is better than speed.
Submit and Honor those who have WALKED WITH GOD BEFORE YOU. IT MAKES YOU AWISE PERSON

When we get comfortable with sin or feel unbothered by it, it’s a sign that we may be drifting from a true understanding of God’s holiness and our own calling. The Bible calls us to be continually transformed, and part of that is developing a sensitivity to sin and a willingness to receive correction with humility.
When correction becomes offensive instead of constructive, it can mean our pride is blocking us from growth. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 12:1 that "Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid." True love for God and a desire to be like Christ means being open to correction, no matter how uncomfortable it may feel.
It’s a shift in perspective: correction isn’t a punishment or attack—it’s an act of love, a path to maturity, and an opportunity to draw closer to God.

Sometimes, we make plans as men and pray, and God answers our prayers, but not in the way we expected. But God, in his wisdom, says that all things work together for good to those who love him and are called according to His purpose.
This a great reflection for today! It speaks to the idea that God's plans often surpass our understanding, and while we may have specific desires or expectations, His purpose and wisdom are perfect. Romans 8:28 reminds us that even when things don't unfold as we planned, they still serve a greater good for those who love and trust Him.
It's comforting to know that, even when life feels uncertain or challenging, God always works behind the scenes for our benefit, aligning circumstances with His divine purpose.
Remember to always return to the Creator in such case scenarios. Having a mindset of returning to God when things don’t go as planned is a vital part of faith. It shows humility and trust, acknowledging that His ways are higher than ours. Sometimes, when our plans fail, it can feel disheartening, but in those moments, going back to God helps us to realign with His will and receive the peace, guidance, and strength we need.
It's also a reminder that our relationship with God is not based on everything going perfectly always according to our plans,

The Unpopular Opinion
In today’s world, we find ourselves amidst an alarming trend where the gospel and those who minister it are often trivialized. This unfortunate reality is one of the greatest challenges faced by the Christian faith, as it undermines the transformative power of the gospel and the sacred role of those called to preach and teach it. What was once regarded as the most profound truth, filled with life-altering significance, has in many instances been reduced to a source of mockery or, even worse, indifference.
At the heart of this trivialization lies a broader cultural shift toward secularism and materialism. As societies across the globe become more focused on success, wealth, and individualism, spiritual values are often pushed aside. Faith is relegated to the realm of personal preference rather than being seen as an essential aspect of life. The gospel message, which calls for repentance, self-sacrifice, and devotion to Christ, stands in sharp contrast to a culture that increasingly promotes self-gratification and personal ambition.
In such a culture, the gospel is often dismissed as irrelevant, outdated, or overly restrictive. Its moral teachings, particularly on subjects like love, justice, sexuality, and stewardship, are ridiculed or seen as an obstacle to personal freedom. The message of Christ is simplified or diluted to fit into a worldview that prioritizes convenience over conviction.
For the broader Christian community, the trivialization of the gospel is a wake-up call. It calls for a return to the essence of the Christian faith, where the gospel is central and honored above all else. The church must commit itself to upholding the sanctity of gospel ministry, supporting ministers in their difficult tasks, and ensuring that the message of Christ is not watered down to fit cultural preferences.
This will require the church to be countercultural, standing firm on biblical truth even when it is unpopular. It will require a renewed focus on discipleship, where believers are equipped not only to defend the gospel but also to live it out in a way that attracts others to the beauty of Christ’s message.
We live in a time where the gospel and its ministers are often trivialized, yet the power of the gospel remains undiminished. Despite the cultural forces arrayed against it, the message of Christ continues to offer hope, redemption, and life to all who receive it. As believers, it is our responsibility to honor that message, support those who preach it, and carry it forward into a world desperately in need of truth and love. Be one with the unpopular opinion.

loyalty is the consequence of leadership. Leadership is the touchdown of competence.
When leaders are competent, trustworthy, and genuinely care about their team, they build trust and respect. In turn, this fosters loyalty. Essentially, people are more likely to be loyal to leaders who demonstrate integrity, vision, and capability.
Just as a touchdown reflects the successful ex*****on of strategy and skill in football, effective leadership signifies that a person has demonstrated a high level of competence. In other words, leadership is the culmination or pinnacle of one’s skills and abilities. It’s not just about having competence; it’s about being able to apply that competence effectively to lead and inspire others.
But what happens when the goalposts within the leadership are shifted?🤔🤔

Sometimes when you have a great destiny, the enemy will bring battles your way to delay you and wear you out. But I pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ, that you will not waste your time fighting useless battles that derail you from your destiny and purpose in the name of Jesus Christ.
May you walk in the fullness of your destiny while you are strong and energetic by the power of the Almighty. May you enjoy the fruit of your labor in the name of Jesus Christ. You will not work hard and others enjoy the benefits of your labor.
I declare Psalm 18:29 over your life. By the Lord may you run through a troop; and by Yahweh may you leap over a wall in the name of Jesus. Walk into your destiny in the name of Yeshua.
