Dream of a Child International

Dream of a child started by supporting 100 children who lived with their guardians and relatives as most of them were total orphans.

Dream of a child International Organization started its initiative in Bungoma district in 2009, as a response and solution to the plight of the increasing number of vulnerable children. We offer them food, clothing, counseling and love. Since then, Dream of a child has steadily grown, both in size and quality, moving from the individual initiative to an officially registered non-governmental organ

Basket of joy part 2 🤍

Basket of Joy part 1.
Every year , Basket of Joy reminds us of the power of coming together 🤍

These baskets were carefully prepared with essential food and household items — not just to meet needs, but to restore dignity, hope, and joy to families who need it most.

For many widows, children, and vulnerable families, the festive season can be a difficult time. Through generosity and shared compassion, we’re able to ease that burden — even in a small way.
This is what community looks like.
This is what love in action feels like.

DAY 2 of was all about the colors of salvation! 🎨 We learned how each color tells a part of God's amazing story:
BLACK for sin, which separates us from God.
RED for the blood of Jesus, which washes away our sin.
WHITE for purity, showing how we become clean in His eyes.
BLUE for baptism, a public symbol of our new life in Christ.
GREEN for growth, because we keep growing in our faith.
YELLOW/GOLD for heaven, our eternal home!
What a powerful and colorful way to learn about faith!

This Easter, let us take a pause and reflect on the deep love and sacrifice of Jesus, He who gave His life for us, defeated death, and rose again. Because He lives, we have hope, freedom, and the gift of eternal Life. Thank you Jesus for the cross❤️🥹

Isaiah 53:5 (NIV)
“But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed.”
