Childrock Initiative Childrock Initiative is an organization built to provide underprivileged children of the Mukuru Slum

It is based in the Fauta Nyayo district in the Mukuru slums of Nairobi in Kenya, Africa. There are classes ranging from Baby Class up till 8th grade. The initiative was taken by Eric Matthew assisted by John Zata in the Mitumba slums of Kenya. But due to governmental activities, the building was demolished and childrock suffered great losses. It was then relocated to the Fauta Nyayo District in th

e Mukuru slums, just near south B, in Nairobi. The school is not progressing very well, as they are facing problems with the landlords and the food donors. However, the spirit of the teachers and children are never dying. As all of them show up every new day with great hopes and ambitions, looking for a new dawn. They strive to keep the school running and focused on its goals. We would greatly appreciate if you could take out some time t go through our website and consider helping the school out as much as you can, regardless of wherever you are. Right now we have a tragedy which happened yesterday night the slum come in to flame at around 2 o'clock in the night and several houses were burned down including our parents were also affected. One of family got burnt to death

Demolition of houses in the slum of mukuru to pave way for the construction of road this has left so many families homeless and stranded they really need humanitarian assistance such as food cloths blankets among the other things any assistance will appreciate.

The eye care project to our childrens and the underprivileged and the vulnerable in th communities at childrock was very successful,we thank the stakeholders who made it happened,we still need a lot of help because there are some people who are to go through eye surgery/operation in order to gain their eye sight back but we don't have enough funds to take care of it.
Our main challenges as an organization is the feeding program to our children's
