Emining Boys High School #EP 1-(Mini Documentary)

Following yesterday's (26th Jan 2017) naming of the Cabinet Secretaries by the President, the Education post got a new CS, Amina Chawahir Mohamed Jibril (born 5 October 1961). She is a Kenyan Somali lawyer, diplomat and politician. She previously served as chairwoman of the International Organization for Migration and the World Trade Organization's General Council as well as Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme. Before this appointment, she was the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Kenya.
This appointment has come with the replacement of Dr. Fred Matiangi who has been appointed the Interior Cabinet Secretary, a position he had assumed in an acting capacity since July 2017 following the death of the late Joseph Nkaissery.

Reaching our news desk today,West Pokot governor Simon Kachapin has announced a plan to support, needy students who did so well in their KCPE exams last year.He also confirmed to incorporate the ones who are already in high schools from the county.

The 1,205 students whose 2017 KCSE results were cancelled this year, have until Feb 28th to register for 2018 KCSE exams.This is as a result of the pardon that they were given by the ministry of education,as announced by KNEC chairman Mr.George Magoha.
