Pride Month commemorates the ongoing pursuit of equal justice for the le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender, and q***r community and celebrates the accomplishments of LGBTQ individuals.

🌈 This month, Alight and the Foundation For LBQ refugees FLBQR hosted an amazing event with LGBTQ+ community groups in Nairobi. We launched guides to help the LGBTQ+ displaced community and brainstormed ideas for future collaborations.
More than 60 attendees, including reps from
REFUGEE CONSORTIUM OF KENYA (RCK), CWS, HIAS KENYA, ORAM, the US Embassy, and
UNHCR KENYA, joined us for this impactful workshop.
A participant shared, “I love the fact that this has been created by us and for us. Nothing for us without us. Co-creation restores dignity.”
