We have posted here a sample evaluation and qualification criteria for building works as used in our CAPS practical training programs. Practitioners should prepare these criteria to the required professional standards. Notably, the use of point scores or merit points were not envisaged in the standard tender documents for Kenya. Yet, the professional and oversight bodies in the country propagate the use of points in works contracts. Your comments are welcome.
