Hikmah - الحكمة - Wisdom.

By Allaah! You cannot satisfy everyone – but that is still not a justification for you to lower your standards.
Some people feel that they can always get away with a person’s good manners and characteristics. Some of them consider a person’s moral values as his weakness of which they can take advantage of anytime.

And know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, and relief after affliction, and ease after hardship.

Righteousness is that which contents the soul and comforts the heart, and sin is that which causes doubts and perturbs the heart, even if people pronounce it lawful and give you verdicts on such matters again and again.

Be grateful if you receive and be patient if you don’t, Do not be of those, who when something of the treasures and comfort of this world is given to them, they become pleased, but when it is taken away from them, they become displeased:

Allaah does not close a door at a servant - out of His (Divine) Wisdom...
Except that He opens for him (another) door - out of His (infinite) Mercy

💠 THERE IS NOT A PERSON EXCEPT THAT HE IS EITHER AFFLICTED WITH ANXIETY, OR WORRY, OR SORROW, OR GRIEF, OR DISTRESS, OR FEAR, OR POVERTY.

It is like almost saying that a person who has not suffered distress in this world will not enter Paradise. As Allaah تعالى said:

*أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِن قَبْلِكُم ۖ مَّسَّتْهُمُ الْبَأْسَاءُ وَالضَّرَّاءُ وَزُلْزِلُوا حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ مَتَىٰ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ*

{Did you think that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, "When (will come) the Help of Allaah?" Yes! Certainly, the Help of Allaah is near!}
📚[Surah al-Baqarah (2): 214]

And He تعالى also said:

*أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوا أَن يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ ‎*‏ *وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْكَاذِبِينَ*

{Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: "We believe," and will not be tested. And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allaah will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars, (although Allaah knows all that before putting them to test).}
📚[Surah al-`Ankaboot (29): 2-3]

As long as you are on this earth, you will be tested:

Mus`ab bin Sa`d narrated from his father that a man said: O Messenger of Allaah ﷺ! Which of the people is tried most severely? He ﷺ said: ❝ The Prophets, then those nearest to them, then those nearest to them. A man is tried according to his religion; if he is firm in his religion, then his trials are more severe, and if he is frail in his religion, then he is tried according to the strength of his religion. The servant shall continue to be tried until he is left walking upon the earth without any sins.❞

Only in Jannah will a person find true peace and relief from every calamity:

*وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ ۖ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ*

{And (in Jannah) they will say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allaah, Who has removed from us (all) grief. Verily, our Lord is indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (good deeds and to recompense).}
📚[Surah Faatir (35): 34]

👉 So, during a calamity, seek Allaah’s help through Sabr (patience), Salaah (prayers), and Du`aa (supplications).

👉 And strengthen your Imaan with regular recitation of the Qur’aan.

👉 And seek nearness to Allaah through Fasting, Sadaqah (optional charity), feeding the poor, helping the destitute, etc.

If one sincerely prays to Allaah for help, then worry no more.

When Allaah helps someone, then even the words which his opponents speak against him will only be in his favor.

If Allaah were to take from you...
.. (a thing) which you thought you would never lose.

He will soon provide for you...
.. (a thing) which you thought you would never own.
