Teacher Kelly.com 'You' is a personal pronoun, a second person pronoun. We need to know, in standard English for a sentence to be grammatically correct whenever a verb is used, it has to adhere to subject verb agreement rule , which basically is;if the subject is in plural the verb must be in plural form, same with singular verbs. You realize that, the pronoun' You' is both singular and plural; but it always takes a verb form which is plural because the subject-verb agreement rules apply to all personal pronouns except 'I' and 'you'. So, ' how is you' is not correct. like explained above, the pronoun' you' should take a plural form. note( is) is singular and( are) is plural. in simple terms (is) shouldn't come before you. For example you cannot say ,is you fine or is you going. i hope that's better Fedis , thank you keep involved.
