One of the biggest cultural shocks we encounter when traveling outside our countries is food.
Through the Talk and Help Program, we help students learn about different food cultures well in advance, so that in the future they won’t be thrown off balance when they travel to other countries.

Our students and those of the Primary 1 in Gniew had a fantastic and fun-filled online meeting. It was a joyful exchange full of laughter, curiosity, and learning across cultures 🌍✨

The online lesson was organized by Teacher Asia Balbusa.

Cultural Bridges Beyond Borders: Outering School (Kenya) Meets Primary School No. 2 Named After John Paul II (Poland)

In a beautiful celebration of friendship, learning, and cultural exchange, learners from Outering Schools in Nairobi, Kenya, and Primary School No. 2 named after John Paul II in Czersk, Poland, came together for their first-ever online talk and help exchange program.

The inspiring session was gracefully facilitated by Ms. Judyta Sikorska of the Polish school, whose passion for global education and youth connection made the event possible. Despite the ongoing long holiday and national assessment tests going on in Kenyan, part of the learners from Outering showed remarkable dedication and excitement, joining the session with radiant smiles and open hearts.

During the virtual exchange, the students shared stories about their schools, communities, and countries—highlighting the beauty of both Poland and Kenya through laughter, curiosity, and friendship. The session reached a moving climax as both groups proudly sang their national anthems and school anthems, echoing unity, pride, and mutual respect across continents.

This first online engagement not only deepened cultural understanding but also planted the seeds of lifelong global friendship between young learners thousands of miles apart.

Together, they proved that learning has no borders—only bridges. 🌍✨
