In an age where technology is significant in the learning process, understanding the operation of computers is important. We do more at Tecno:
We learn the computer (Hardware)
What makes it (Software)
How to manipulate it (Coding etc)
Reach out, n let's have fun while at it!

Screentime has continued to rise in different homes, this has made it impossible to detach the young ones from electrical gadgets.
Now instead of them wasting their intelligence on irrelevant things, what if they did something more meaningful?
Techno helps kids learn a concept that could form a foundation to future careers in software development.
We achieve this by facilitating simple yet creative coding lessons. Create a booking with us to find out more.
Both digital literacy and traditional learning methods are
important for learning.
When the combining the two, not only do students learn how to read and write, but they also learn
how to expand their communication, language and media skills.
They grow and engage the world through images, diagrams, audio and video media, taking their
reading and writing skills to greater dimensions of learning.
Making digital literacy an important part of children's lives from a young age, allows them to access and become familiar with digitally interactive "smart" learning tools.
Now more than ever, a digital literacy curriculum is important.
Where we run into trouble is with its implementation as required in the CBC.
Often, parents and teachers leave children to use the internet space without any guidance.
Children who use social media should understand how it works, who can see it, and what digital footprint they are leaving behind.
Although we may feel the need to exclude technology from the
classroom, embracing digital literacy through the CBC with a focus on responsibility will likely result in a more responsible use of technology for future adults.
Cyber bullying is a menace with negative implications on internet users, especially children.
To address this issue, the Google curriculum outlines 5 areas covered by Techno Learning:
1. Share with Care (Be Internet Smart)
2. Don’t Fall for Fake (Be Internet Alert)
3. Secure Your Secrets (Be Internet Strong)
4. It’s Cool to Be Kind (Be Internet Kind)
5. When in Doubt, Talk It Out (Be Internet Brave)

When kids get to try out new ideas with hands-on activities, they really get into the learning. That’s why Techno Learning are big fans of science projects both at home and in school
We at Techno encourage creativity through divergent thinking
Ask ten different teachers to define "creativity" or imagination and you'll probably get ten different answers.
One definition of creativity focuses on the process of
"divergent thinking," which encompasses:
1. the breaking up of old ideas
2. making new connections
3. enlarging the limits of knowledge
4. the onset of wonderful ideas
When we promote divergent thinking, we help to
maintain children's motivation and passion for in-depth
learning.
Encouraging children to keep on generating new ideas fosters their creative-thinking abilities.
