MINISTRY OF EDUCATION RELEASES THE 2025 ACADEMIC CALENDAR .

The Government through the ministry of Education has announced that all public and private Schools Nationwide will reopen for the 2025 Academic calendar on the First week of January 2025 following the recent concluded Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE that ended in the beginning of this week on 22nd day of November 2024.

In a circular issued by the principal secretary of the Ministry of Education Belio Kipsang today 29th November 2024 ,all schools in Kenya are set to reopen for the first Term on 6th January 2025.

Term 1 will consist of 13 weeks

Term 1 mid term break is set for 5 days between 26th Feb -2nd March

Term 1 Holidays will be 3 weeks equivalent of 21 day between 7thb-25th April 2025

According to Kipsang Belio,The principal secretary MOE Term 2 is set to kick off on 28th April through 1st August 2025 span of 14 weeks and the longest term
Term 2 mid term is 5 days running from 25-29th June 2025

Term 3 is set to commence on 25th August to 24th October 2025 span of 10 weeks

2025 Academic yeae will end on 27th October ushering in December holiday

National Examination schedule
KPSEA 27th to 30th October 2025
Kenya Intermediate Level Education (KILEA)27th-31st October.

Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA)27th October to 6th November

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE will start on 3rd November to 21st November 2025

Eastern Kenya integrated College EKIC has an operational bakery unit section at the college premises.

This Bakery unit will be used by the Hospitality and catering students during their practical lessons.

It was launched recently by the Most Rt.Rev .Dr. Timothy Ndambuki the Archbishop ABC church Kenya ,East , central and south Africa and also Finland churches and flagged by the college principal Madam Canon Esther Ndavi .
