Isaac Ochola, a Kenyan student studying Internal Medicine at KIU was yesterday found dead in Uganda.

His body was found decomposing in one of the hostels with different types of medicine and syringes sprawled all over the bed.

Documents recovered by police indicated that the deceased was suffering from a psychiatric disorder and was undertaking medication.

The demand for HELB funds has risen in the recent years owing to a high number of students being enrolled in tertiary institutions.
