The smartest full blazer school uniform across the East and Central Africa region including The North of Sahara and Southern Limpopo. It used to be initially sewn by Impala garments in Kisumu(I wonder if they are still in existence) Whoever came up with this design needs to be recognized and awarded a head of state commendation. Kudos!!!!

KSSSA Nationals all-round update!

The lineup for the KSSSA National Boys Football Championship is taking shape, and this year’s regional finals have delivered drama, upsets, and historic firsts.

All roads now lead to Kiambu at the Thika M-Pesa Foundation, where the national games will kick off next week on July 28.

In Nyanza, St. Mary’s Yala wrote a new chapter. The Victor Makanda boys edged stubborn Kisumu Boys 1-0 at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay to book their maiden ticket to the nationals. It was tight, tense, and a breakthrough moment for a school chasing that national stage for the very first time.

Rift Valley also crowned a debutant. Tenwek Boys held their nerve to beat Menengai High School from Nakuru 3-2 and lift the regional title for the first time in the school’s history.

Out in Western, the giants are back. Kakamega School ended a long wait by defeating archrivals Musingu High School 2-0 in extra time. It’s Kakamega’s first regional crown since the year 2018, and beating Musingu to get it made it even sweeter for the Green Commandos faithfuls.

Coast Region will be represented by Tononoka.
In Central, Ruthigiti will carry the flag to nationals.
Eastern belongs to Tumaini Secondary, who were crowned the champions.

Nairobi's flagbeares are Highway and North Eastern representatives are Takaba. Who will be crowned the national champs?? Will Green Commandos bring the trophy home?

NTSA released a checklist of eight requirements targeting school bus and van operators.

The authority is intensifying compliance checks along major transport corridors under the Operation Watoto Wafike Salama campaign The checks will be conducted in collaboration with the National Police Service and County Transport and Safety Committees.

Musingu's Scorpions head coach Mr.Mwinamo has dismissed rumours of national games entry. He says Musingu is concentrating on league football.

Musingu High School head coach Brendan Mwinamo has firmly dismissed reports suggesting his team could still make it to the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) National Games in Thika. He maintains that the school’s football program has already moved on after its elimination at the regional championships.

St. Peters Mumias High School alumnus Prof. George Luchiri Wajackoyah has a four-hour school day idea. This has sparked fresh debate on the future of Kenya’s education model.

This radical proposal to shorten the school day to just four hours, emphasizes that Kenya’s education system should shift focus from long classroom hours to nurturing creativity, practical skills, and holistic child development.

Outlining his vision, Wajackoyah said children spend excessive time in school, often leaving home early and returning late, only to continue with homework into late hours of the night.
