Initially the school was planned to conduct vocational skills to schools from the locality, later the plans were altered to make it a girls school. It is now a church sponsored girls’ school found along Mazeras – Kaloleni off Mombasa/Nairobi road in Rabai District approximately 20kms from Mombasa. The school lies within the Kilifi County with a population index of 1,109,735 in the ratio of 535,526 male and 574,209 female. Currently the standards of education still stagger so much so that Coast Province as a whole account for 4.5% of university students (8,941 against 198,119) nationally,6.0% in secondary schools (108,401 against 1,796,467); 8.0% in primary school (758,062 against 9,425,390) and 11.1% in pre-primary school (250,380 against 2,247,071). Kombeni has an intensive academic campaign so as to produce straight As for the coming 5 years that will change the image and results of the school.
