𝟮𝟬𝘁𝗵–𝟮𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴
Strengthening our capacity to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and visitors by enabling immediate and effective response in emergency situations before professional help arrives.
Focusing on key personnel: administrators, security guards, boarding officials, matrons and wardens, as well as teachers. Most of these individuals are often present when others are not, especially in boarding sections, and are therefore best positioned to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱:
The first aid training covered basic medical management such as CPR, management of choking, fainting, and shock, handling wounds and bleeding, fractures, burns and scalds, as well as responding to poisoning, bites and stings, and the movement of casualties.
𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱:
Fire safety concepts included an introduction to the history of fire safety, fire classes and the spread of fire, risk assessment, firefighting equipment, emergency response procedures, evacuation drills, and hands-on practical demonstrations.

Longhorn Publishers Board of Directors, led by their Board Chairman, Professor Githu Muigai, paid a courtesy call to Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Secondary School and were received by the School Director, Mr. Khamis, and his team of administrators.
