Likoni TVC proudly participated in this yearโs Madaraka Day celebrations held at Mwangala Primary School, where the institution had the opportunity to showcase some of its outstanding innovations, practical projects, and technical skills developed by our talented trainees and dedicated trainers.
The celebrations provided an important platform to demonstrate how TVET education continues to transform lives by equipping young people with practical skills, innovation capacity, and opportunities for self-reliance and employment.
Our exhibition attracted hundreds of visitors including students, parents, community members, leaders, and stakeholders who had an opportunity to interact with our trainees and witness firsthand the creativity, technology, and innovation being nurtured at Likoni TVC.
We were greatly honored by the presence of Hon. Mishi Mboko, Member of Parliament for Likoni Constituency, who visited our exhibition stand and interacted with trainees. Her encouragement serves as motivation to our trainees and staff as we continue working towards building a stronger, innovative, and skilled generation ready to contribute positively to society and national development. Also present were the DCC Likoni,MCA Timbwani,ACC Longo Division and area Ward Admin.

The sensitization forum focused on creating awareness on TVET opportunities, competency-based education and training (CBET), employability, and pathways to decent work, encouraging young people to embrace skills development as a sustainable route to self-reliance and economic empowerment.
Participants were engaged on available training programs, dual TVET pathways, industry linkages, and career guidance, equipping them with the knowledge needed to make informed career and training decisions.
