A Worship That Merits the Heavens

There was a time when the israelites were held captives. They mocked them asking, could you sing to us the songs you used to sing while you were free for your God?" They replied," do you not know our God? Surely you don't. The songs and praises for our God are a living sacrifice therefore we can't sing while we are captives.
When one is held a captive, he is denied all His freedom and rights of worship, movement and so forth. In short you are limited. You are no longer free to do what you want.
We should never give an enemy room in our worship for this is a living sacrifice that touches the heart of God. Worship must be from the heart because there is no other way that you can make God happy. It touches the heart of God.
We sing songs of God so that all who mock us because of our reverence and commitment to God, might understand that whomsoever the son sets free is freed. Therefore we are no longer inheritors of slavery.
