Happy faces, big smiles and, of course, the occasional “chill” sign! ✌🏽😂

Sometimes, you don’t need a big moment to show how much fun it is to be at Thorn Tree. These little moments of joy, friendship and simply being themselves say it all. 🥰🌱

Happy learners. Happy moments. Happy Thorn Tree. 💚

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9

A new week is ahead, and with it come the Assessments for our Grade 3-9 learners. 📚📝

As our learners prepare, remember that assessments are an opportunity to show what you have learned, do your best and keep growing. There may be questions that challenge you, but don't let them discourage you. Prepare well, stay focused and trust God through the process. 🙏🏽

And to our teachers and parents, your encouragement and support can make a big difference. Let’s continue to remind our learners that they are capable, prepared and supported. 💚

👇 CLASSROOM CHALLENGE:
This week, encourage a learner with three simple words:

“You can do it!” 🌟

Let's step into the week with confidence, courage and faith.

Take a look at our learners putting Vertical Planting into practice!

As part of the CBC Innovative Gardening sub-strand, our grade 5 learners explored how to make the most of limited space while developing practical skills in and sustainable gardening.

It was learning by doing and growing!

What do you think of their vertical gardens? 👀

There is a special energy at Thorn Tree right now, one of focus, determination and big ambitions. Our senior learners have completed their school selection and are now turning their attention to the next important step: preparing for their upcoming national examinations. 💚

📖 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” - Proverbs 16:3

As our learners prepare, we encourage them to stay focused, work with integrity, believe in their abilities and keep learning every step of the way. And through it all, we commit our plans to God and trust Him with the journey. 🙏🏽

Keep going, keep learning and keep growing.

Saturday is for slowing down, having fun and enjoing little things. We couldn't resist sharing these happy moments from our PP1 and PP2 learners! 💚🌟

At Thorn Tree, we believe the early years should be filled with play, friendships and plenty of smiles. Because sometimes, the best learning happens when little ones are simply having fun!

Our learners across the school have been celebrating the power of literacy, and we caught up with Grade 5 South to ask the important question…

What do they love when reading and writing? 😄📚

From giving story book titles to sharing about what they like writing, hear what Grade 5 South had to say about why literacy matters for our shared prosperity! 💚
