The journey to lay baby Kasaka to rest was not easy.
12 hours by bus to Mbale, 1 hour to Bulambuli, 2 hours on a motorbike, then another 2 hours walking through slippery roads and steep mountains. We fell, got hungry, were rained on, dried again, and kept moving forward carrying pain in our hearts.
But through all that suffering, one lesson remained clear:
Love is sacrifice.
True love keeps going even when the body is tired and the road is hard. Some journeys are not measured by comfort, but by the depth of the love behind them.
Baby Kasaka may have left this world, but he united people, revealed strength we never knew we had, and reminded us that family means standing together no matter how difficult the path becomes.
Sometimes the hardest roads lead to the deepest lessons:
Appreciate life while we still have each other.
Strength is discovered during pain.
God carries us even on roads we think we cannot finish.
May baby Kasaka rest peacefully.
