Isaiah 19:19–20
“In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the heart of Egypt, and a monument to the LORD at its border. It will be a sign and witness to the LORD Almighty in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the LORD because of their oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and he will rescue them.”

“Altar to the LORD” — Inaonyesha watu wa Misri wakimgeukia Mungu na kumwabudu.
“Sign and witness” — Uwepo huo ungekuwa ushahidi kwamba Mungu anatambulika hata katika taifa hilo.
“When they cry out” — Watu wanapomlilia Mungu wakati wa shida, Mungu anasikia maombi yao.
“He will send a savior and defender” — Mungu anaahidi msaada na ukombozi kwa watu wanaomwita.

How do you take a SHIP from Mombasa to Lake Victoria... before there was a railway?

You carry it on your head.

1000 African porters. 3000 pieces of steel. 900 kilometers on FOOT. Through lions, diseases, and wilderness.

For 2 YEARS they carried the SS William Mackinnon piece by piece until it reached Kisumu and was rebuilt to conquer Lake Victoria.

Our grandfathers literally carried a ship across Kenya.
