Free Computer Lessons

Classes on ICT are ongoing at the Trans Nzoia Community ICT Hub. We urge parents and guardians to encourage all Gen Z sons and daughters who have completed their Form Four studies to enroll and acquire digital skills absolutely FREE of charge.

Let us not allow our young people to stay idle at home. Bring them to the hub and give them an opportunity to learn valuable ICT skills, explore online opportunities, and prepare themselves for the digital economy.

Today’s session focused on how to use Canva to create professional designs such as posters, flyers, logos, certificates, social media posts, and business cards. Participants learned how to:
• Create designs using templates
• Add text, images, and backgrounds
• Use colors and fonts professionally
• Download and share designs
• Design marketing materials for businesses and events

The training continues to equip learners with digital and creative skills for online opportunities and self-employment.

Advanced Program

Topic: Using AI (Artificial Intelligence)

Today’s session focused on understanding Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how it can be used in digital work, business, education, and daily activities.

Areas Covered:
• Introduction to AI and how it works
• Importance of AI in today’s digital world
• AI tools used for content creation, research, and communication
• How AI can help in online jobs and freelancing
• Responsible and ethical use of AI
• Benefits and challenges of AI technology

Practical Training:
• Creating content using AI tools
• Writing professional documents with AI assistance
• Using AI for graphic design ideas and social media posts
• Learning how AI improves productivity and saves time

Key Lesson:
AI is becoming an important tool in the modern digital economy. Learning how to use AI skills can help youth access online opportunities, improve efficiency, and create innovative solutions.
