𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗻

When I started using pen in my primary school, and I made a mistake, I would try hard to erase it before submitting to my teacher.

Sometimes, I used chalk to clean my mistake but it later re-appeared. So I began to use saliva, it worked, but only to leave holes in my books. My teachers then used to beat me for being outrageously dirty. But all I tried to do was to cover my error.

One day, a kind hearted teacher who loved me so much called me aside and he said, " Anytime you make a mistake, just cross it and move on" . He said further " Trying to erase your mistakes would only damage your book to nothing.
I told him in protest that I don't want people to see my mistake.
My loving teacher laughed and said " Trying to erase your mistake will make more people know about your mess and the stigma is for life".

Have you made some mistakes in life? Cross it over and move on. Don't expose yourself as a result of trying to cover your mistakes.
Better things are ahead of you.

Nine years ago, a young, naive, and uncertain Mitchell walked through our gates—full of fear, yet carrying a quiet hope for a brighter tomorrow. She at times stayed far from parents & with God-sent teachers who held her hand to remain focused. A humble school environment actually tested her resilience and never dimmed her determination.

From those humble days, she rose to serve faithfully as the Form 4 East class secretary in 2021, proving her leadership, strength, and unwavering character. And today… she walks out of the Laikipia University Graduation pavilion with her head held high, graduating with First Class Honors in Accounting.

What a journey. What a testimony. What a victory. 🌟💙

Mitchell, your story moves us deeply. You have shown that beginnings do not define destinies, and that hope, discipline, and resilience can transform even the toughest seasons into triumph. We are incredibly proud of you. When we mention our best, we mention you twice!!

Today, we celebrate more than a graduation — we celebrate a journey of courage, sacrifice, late nights, prayers, and unwavering determination. Dorcus has officially graduated from 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝑳𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚- 𝑲𝒊𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒖 with a Bachelor of Education (Arts) in English & Literature. Our hearts are overflowing with pride.

From her humble stays at Rafiki Sec School Class of 2021, Form 4 West student to this powerful moment, 𝗗𝗼𝗿𝗰𝘂𝘀 has walked a path that wasn’t always easy — but she never gave up.
