βOur Skills, Our Strengthβ

Ladies, let us be intentional as we join male-dominated courses because we are capable, talented, and strong enough to succeed in every field. Our dreams are valid, our skills matter, and our presence brings diversity, innovation, and excellence. Let us rise above fear, stereotypes, and limitations, proving that determination and hard work have no gender.
Every step we take into these careers opens doors for other young women to believe in themselves. Whether in engineering, ICT, mechanics, construction, or technical fields, we belong there too. Let us support one another, learn boldly, and lead with confidence because empowered women transform communities and inspire generations.

This week we raise our voices on Femicide and reflect on what the Taskforce Report means to the prevention of Femicide in Kenya and how participation of communities in rural and peri-urban spaces in Kenya shape the agenda of prevention of Femicide. We must ensure justice for victims and restorative justice to their families. We call upon the President of Kenya to ensure the task force report is not gathering dust but that it's implementation is fully financed.

Akado Vocational Training Center proudly celebrates the emergence of a strong and visionary leader, Eng. Victor Odhiambo, now serving as the Chairperson for the Vocational Association.
He will be speaking live on air on 5th, representing all 28 Vocational Training Centers. This is a great honor not only to him but also to Akado VTC, as it reflects the institutionβs commitment to nurturing competent professionals and impactful leaders.
His voice will carry the hopes, achievements, and future direction of the entire VTC community. We stand proud and confident that his message will inspire unity, growth, and positive transformation across all centers.
