This institution started as a program of KEVIBEMLANES (Kenya Victoria Beach Medical Laboratory Network Services), a local NGO whose mandate is to promote clinical diagnosis by laboratory methods, to avail many professionals in health related disciplines. The professionals are to be deployed to various vulnerable communities where they will provide quality health services to the people through COBALA (Community Based Laboratory) Projects of the NGO.
