The Lorita School learners visit to Kakamega Forest was more than just a nature walk —it was a a classroom without walls, where children learnt with their senses wide open. Surrounded by towering indigenous trees, chirping birds, and fluttering butterflies, learners explore biodiversity firsthand. They identified rare species like the De Brazza monkey, listened to bird calls, and felt the textures of medicinal plants once used by their ancestors.
In Kakamega Forest, education came alive — it’s where science met adventure, and fun left lasting memories.
