Teachers assigned roles as centre managers, supervisors, and invigilators in this year’s national examinations have been directed to create or update their KNEC CP2 profiles before the start of the tests.
According to a communication from TSC Sub County officials, including Curriculum Support Officers and Sub County Directors, school heads must ensure that all teachers contracted by KNEC have active and verified CP2 accounts. The profiles are crucial for confirming deployment details and facilitating payment after the exams.
Teachers participating for the first time are required to log in to the KNEC CP2 portal and create new accounts, while those who have previously served should update their existing profiles. They must also download their deployment letters, which specify their assigned centres, duties, and responsibilities.
KNEC has emphasized the importance of verifying key details such as name, ID number, TSC number, KRA PIN, assigned role, deployed centre, and mobile phone number, as the latter will be used for M-Pesa reimbursement once the exercise concludes.
Meanwhile, teachers assigned invigilation duties will attend briefing sessions this week to familiarize themselves with examination procedures and conduct expectations. Centre managers and supervisors have already undergone similar training and sensitization on their roles for the 2025 national exams and assessments.
KNEC has also released detailed briefing notes to guide all contracted professionals and ensure a smooth and credible examination process across the country.
