We are thrilled to announce the rollout of our Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) program at our Karen Campus. This vital initiative was led by Campus Principal Prof. Hellen Mberia, alongside our campus directors, including the Director of the JKUAT TVET Institute, Dr. Fridah Simba, and other participating directors.
The training has brought together education stakeholders, curriculum experts, and trainers at our Karen Campus to strengthen the understanding of CBET as a key driver of quality, inclusivity, and industry-responsive skills development. As institutions of higher learning increasingly embrace competency-based approaches, this initiative bridges the gap between foundational education and high-level technical expertise.As the educational landscape evolves, strengthening collaboration between universities, TVET institutes, industry partners, and regulatory bodies is essential.
