At She Can Initiative, our commitment to empowering women and girls goes beyond a single training session. Through our ongoing Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) program, we hold training sessions three times a week, creating a safe space where girls and women can learn, ask questions, share experiences, and gain knowledge to support healthier, more informed decisions.

During todayโs session, participants explored three important areas:

Participants learned what GBV means and how different forms of violence can affect women and girls, their health, dignity, safety, and well-being.

They discussed how differences in power, authority, resources, or influence can create situations where one person controls, exploits, intimidates, or harms another.

Participants explored violence as more than physical harm. Violence can also involve sexual, emotional, psychological, or economic abuse, as well as threats, coercion, and other forms of harmful control.
At She Can Initiative, we believe that knowledge is an important part of prevention and empowerment. When women and girls understand their rights, recognise harmful behaviours, and know where to seek support, they are better positioned to make informed decisions about their health and lives.
Our SRH sessions continue three times every week because meaningful change requires continuous learning, dialogue, and community engagement.
Together, we are creating safe spaces where women and girls can learn, speak, participate, and grow with dignity.
She Can Initiative: Empowering women and girls. Building an informed, resilient, and dignified society.
