This is more than just a walk… it’s a celebration of legacy, unity, and the bond that connects us beyond the classroom walls. 💙
Our alumni family is coming together to reconnect, inspire one another, and continue building the strong foundation that defines who we are. 🌟 Every step we take is a step towards impact, growth, and strengthening our community. 🤝
We are truly honored to have our Patron, the Bishop of Murang’a County Catholic Diocese, supporting this special moment. 🙏🏽⛪ His presence reflects the strong values of faith, leadership, and service that guide our alumni community.

Let’s show up in numbers.
Let’s walk with pride.
Let’s celebrate our story. 🎉

Good Morning, Dear Parents and Guardians!

We are reaching out to you, our dedicated partners who are helping nurture the young girls of the current decade (2020–2029), with an exciting update on our Day 7 Fundraising Drive.

We are kindly asking you to join us for the final push! The Finish Line is in Sight! 🏁

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our alumnae groups, we have collectively raised a phenomenal Kshs *550,045* to support current students who are unable to meet their school fees! We particularly want to support the Form 4 students so that they can finish their studies.

We are just shy of our immediate goal, needing only Kshs 49,955 to cross the Kshs 600,000 mark and beyond!

*Your Legacy. Our Future.*
We know the immense effort and resources you have poured into ensuring your children receive the best education here at OLC Mugoiri Girls.

This is why we specifically call on you today.

Your contribution is not just a donation; it is an affirmation of the values you instill in your children and a direct investment in the continued legacy and excellence of the institution they call home for now.

Every parent's contribution, big or small, represents the heart of our community.

Please stand with us for this final 600K & beyond push!

You can send your contribution to the MOGA Treasurer Eunice Macharia at 0746369240 or our Paybill below.

Mrs Mary Gakunga, Founding Chairperson of MOGA is a distinguished alumni of the school, having first studied at Gaiteiguru Intermediate School from 1954 - 1957.

She later on joined Mugoiri Girls High School as part of the 2nd Pioneer class between 1958 to 1961.

Mrs Gakunga holds a Bachelor's Degree from Mount Saint Scholastica college (USA) 1965 and a Master's Degree from John Carroll University (1967).

She was one of the early beneficiaries of the famous Tom Mboya Airlifts.

She also holds a post-graduate Diploma in Curriculum Development from UON.

Mary taught at John Carroll University in 1965-1967 and later at Nyeri High School before joining KICD as a curriculum development specialist in 1968 until her retirement in 1996.

Why is this history important?

Because her journey was made possible by the help of others....the same way we have been doing as MOGA and will continue to do through giving Bursaries and Scholarships.

At KIE as it was known then, Mrs Gakunga was one of the writers of the Progressive Peak series which includes reading books like "Hallo Children"

If you read any of these books....send something to the Paybill today in her honour.
