🇨🇦 CANADA WORK VISA REALITY CHECK

So many people have been reaching out asking about work visas to Canada, so let me explain.

Most jobs require an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) this is a document an employer must get to prove no Canadian citizen or permanent resident can do the job.

Before getting an LMIA, the employer must advertise the job and show the government that no Canadian or PR is available to fill that position.

Sasa the truth is getting an LMIA is not easy. It’s expensive, takes time, and many employers are not willing to go through the process. That’s why most prefer hiring people who are already in Canada.

If you have KSh 350,000, you can start your journey to Canada as a student 🇨🇦

A lot of people think you need millions to begin, but honestly this amount is enough to get you through the first steps :application, admission, and visa process.

Here’s a simple breakdown
Application fee: KSh 10,000 – 15,000 (depends on the institution)

School fees deposit: CAD $1500– $2,000 (KSh 140,000 – 180,000) (for college pathway)

Most universities require a higher deposit, usually around CAD $5,000 or more (about KSh 450,000 – 500,000)

Visa fee:CAD $285 (KSh 26,000) with biometrics

CAD $100 (KSh 9,000) if biometrics already done

Medicals: KSh 30,000

Flight: KSh 100,000 less or more

Total comes to roughly KSh 250,000 – 350,000 depending on the school and your situation, which is why KSh 350,000 is a safe amount to plan with.

You don’t have to pay full school fees to get your admission letter most schools only ask for a deposit, and the amount depends on the institution.
