Dear Members,
We invite all grade 10 students. We shall offer the 3 paths tailored to suit them. They will do choice of subject combination after we orientate them in Week 1 beginning 12/01/26. Parents must make a quick decision. Changing schools will not favour the child much just as changing paths and subject combinations. It is a three year intensive course. Rem these children were not taught well because they entered JSS when the govt was not very ready. They need to be handled with care. Don't take them where you won't afford. It is an expensive system with many silent costs depending on the child's subject combination.
We are ready to offer Music and Dance, Theatre and Film, Metal Works, Sports and Recreation, Computer Studies depending on choices made after Week 1. We shall endeavour as a community to provide resources for the choices made by learners in record time.
Secondly, the plan for our lab construction is underway. Before end of Jan we shall have a completed science lab.
Lastly, parents unable to pay fees please go to the Education office in Homa Bay and pick the Elimu Form for free and return it on time.
Karibu Got Kokech Sec Sch. The Grade 10 will have a different uniform got at sch. It is better than what we have now. Varieties are also available. Let's be proud of our children and support them accordingly. The fee remains 15,000/- plus 3 reams of photocopying papers per year. Other costs may be there later depending on course chosen. No remedial funds. It is within the fee.
