We are a not-for-profit, government-owned educational institution providing Free Primary Education as mandated by the Government of Kenya [Kenya Constitution, Article 53, 2010]
Established in 1973, Githunguri Primary School is one of the earliest schools in Nyandarua County and has continued to churn out great talent, contributing to the advancement of education in the country.

Dear friends and former students,
After close to 40 years of inspiring young minds, Mrs Wangai is officially retired from teaching, but her legacy lives on in all the lives she’s touched!
If you were lucky enough to be her student, colleague, or friend, we’d love for you to join us in celebrating her retirement with love, laughter, and of course, lots of stories!
