Bringing the Industry to Community Level
Under the leadership and guidance of our Board of Governors Chairman, and Our Chief Principal Naftal Omwamba, today we reached a historic milestone as we officially launched our state-of-the-art Milk Processing Plant! With a powerful capacity to process 250 liters of milk per hour, Runyenjes technical and Vocational College is officially stepping into the future as an industrialized technical college.

This isn't just about machinery; it’s about transforming lives. Through this initiative, we are:
✨ Empowering local dairy farmers across Kyeni South, Runyenjes Constituency, and beyond by adding value to their produce.
✨ Producing high-quality, locally processed milk and delicious yogurt.
✨ Creating sustainable jobs for our community.
✨ Providing unparalleled, hands-on industrial experience for our trainees.

This is just the beginning. The journey toward a fully industrialized TVET institution is firmly underway, and many more exciting, groundbreaking projects are on the horizon!

A Madaraka Day Celebration That was.
Yesterday, our trainees stole the show as they proudly represented the spirit of "Education, Skills, and Future" at Karurumo VTC through a breathtaking Pokomo cultural dance and acrobatic presentations.

The thrilling performances are a beautiful reminder of how technical and vocational training institutions nurtures not just technical expertise, but also rich cultural preservation, teamwork, and leadership as well as fostering national unity and cohesion. Congratulations to our students for a brilliant and unforgettable performance that truly electrified the celebrations!

As The President leads the nation in marking this historic day —the very first time our national self-rule celebrations are hosted in Northern Kenya— here at Runyenjes technical and Vocational College we reflect on the true meaning of Madaraka (Authority) and are convinced that true self-governance is the power to shape our own destiny.

True liberation today means equipping our youths with the knowledge, digital skills, and innovative mindsets needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Our future is built in our classrooms, technical institutions, and tech hubs and workshops.
