5 LESSONS FROM THE BOOK RICH DAD AND POOR DAD.

3. Surround yourself with people smarter than you. If you are the smartest person in a room, you are in the wrong room.

4. It is not how much money you make. It is how much money you can keep.

5. Work to learn, not work to earn. Keep hungry for longlife learning.

On 16th September 2025, we shared updates on the ongoing works at Tot Sub-County Hospital in Endoo Ward, Marakwet East.

At the time, the promise was clear:
With peace returning to the Kerio Valley, Tot Hospital was set to become the referral hospital for the entire Kerio Valley region, including our neighbours.
It was also expected to provide KMTC students with a proper environment for practical learning.

However, to date, the hospital is still not complete.

This raises serious questions:
What might be the problem?
Is it funding delays, contractor issues, or lack of political goodwill?

The people of Kerio Valley deserve answers. A fully operational Tot Hospital will save lives, reduce referrals to Iten and Eldoret, and uplift health training in the region.

We call on the County Government of Elgeyo Marakwet and relevant stakeholders to fast-track completion of this critical facility.

The health of our people cannot wait.

Fred Ekiru, a student from Turkana, who was trending back in 2022, when he was accompanied by his parents to join Kapsabet Boys after scoring 403 marks in KCPE, and was able to score an impressive B+ (72 points) after being sponsored by well wishers, set to join University of Nairobi to pursue Bsc Economic snd Statistics.

Update: This is the aftermath of the fire that gutted a dormitory at Tenwek High School.

Reports indicate that several students who were allegedly planning a demonstration had been arrested before the fire broke out.

Fortunately, no students were injured in the blaze. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.
