Retirement knocking, just around the corner. My known last born, Eucabeth Jelimo Biwott (Jepkerich) joined Grade 1 on Tuesday 6th January 2026. She says when she grows up she would like to be a pilot and buy her mum, not her dad, a car... because she knows I have one... Seems the mum inducted her that the car is mine, not ours... Now I know. Mapema ndo best

When 16-year-old Aminata's father couldn't pay her school fees in Burkina Faso, he started to talk about marrying her off.

Thanks to a UNICEF-supported programme, Aminata has been able to continue her education and plans to become a nurse.

We’ve said it before and we'll say it again: every child has a right to learn.
