With a heavy heart, we announce the untimely passing on of Jared Opiyo Okumu who lost his life yesterday after drowning in river Nzoia. The body was retrieved from the river today.

Untill his demise, Jared of admission number 7619 has been our student in form Three Central.

We join the family in mourning during this difficult period even as we pray for God's solace upon his friends, classmates and the entire school community.

Proud to be hosting this year's edition of the Busia County Secondary Schools Drama and Film Festival which kicked off today and will be running till Saturday 8th March 2025.

The festival was officially opened today by county director of education Mr. Ekalio.

APPRECIATION POST

The Budalangi Community wishes to thank Mr. Otonde Christopher, the Deputy Principal for his selfless service to the school and commitment to duty.

Mr. Otonde has been a strict disciplinarian and a believer in excellence, attributes which he has passed on to his colleagues and students.

It is this hard work and determination that has earned him a promotion as Principal.

Mr. Otonde takes over as the Principal at Namunyweda Secondary School.

We wish him all the very best in this new assignment.
